After being given our feedback from kayte's lesson, we were told to play around more with the idea of 'the unexpected element' such as starting deep in the corners of the studio, or even outside the studio and walking in. We were also concerned with idea of direction and speed, and to really embody the element of walking naturally, we decided to stay with the idea of meeting in the middle.

However as you can see we have really played around with the idea of walking and using direction and speed. We decided to stay with this for as long as we could until it felt there was time for change.

We noticed that after we made contact with each other on the floor our paths became more defined, and for me personally i was purposely attempting to get in charlie's way. However this helped as by crossing paths, it inspired the contact improvisation.
